The body of the beverage is medium, and the aftertaste is sweet.

The Akagera growing region is characterized by a moderate climate with relatively low rainfall, fertile and rich soil, and an altitude of over 1500 meters above sea level. A significant number of local plantations are located near the base of Central Africa's largest protected wetland area, Akagera National Park. Over 95% of the varieties grown here are Bourbon. Akagera is located at a lower altitude than the other 4 regions, so its coffee has slightly lower acidity. However, it boasts a sweet berry and spicy profile with strong floral notes.
