Kenya Gitugu is a novelty in our specialty line. Refined Arabica is grown at an altitude of 1,600 m in the Meru County region of Kenya. 

Washed processing of the berries allows you to preserve all the best taste and aroma characteristics of the grains. The cup is extremely well balanced in terms of body and acidity. It has a pleasant aroma of flowers and juicy cherries. The taste is unsurpassed and fruity-refreshing with notes of maraschino cherry, dried mango and orange.

The aftertaste is sweet and long, which adds notes of elegance and uniqueness to the coffee, the coffee is perfect for the V60 funnel, AeroPress and any purover.

Meru district is located on the eastern slope of the highest mountain in the country - Mt.Kenya (5199 m). Due to the altitude (farms are located at an altitude of 1280 - 1970 meters above sea level), fertile red volcanic soils and tropical climate, coffee from Meru is considered one of the best in Kenya, and the entire region is called "The Champagne Region of Coffee".
