25 Coffee Roasters at the Film Premiere!

Recently, we received a request that touched our hearts. We were invited to be partners at an important event — the private premiere of the film "Man of Peace" about the Ukrainian artist and volunteer who tragically died on March 6, 2022, in Irpin. We are sure many of you knew Pasha Lee as a singer, actor, showman, and volunteer. We couldn't ignore the chance to honor the memory of this kind and open-hearted person.

Natalia Bereziy, a journalist and inspirer, created this film on her own, searching for partners and devoting herself entirely to the process because every detail mattered: from creating the film to organizing its premiere — everything had to correspond to the main character.

It was very pleasant to hear that the vibe of our team and our drinks was the same as Pasha's — rebellious, bright, and courageous. Our Chilled Coffee & Chilled Coffee Tonic became the perfect addition to that evening, giving guests a breath of fresh air during the abnormal heat wave in Ukraine and, most importantly, conveying the right mood and friendly atmosphere that Pasha Lee created around him. Everything Natalia was looking for was found in our cold coffee :)

We talked to her before and after the premiere and decided to share this extraordinary story of the film's creation with you. We even managed to get a small interview :)

How did the idea to make this film come to you?

I often thought about Pasha and didn't understand why since we weren't close friends. I noticed his voice-overs in films, came across various news and mentions about him, and then suddenly he appeared in my dream and asked, "Have you forgotten about me? I really hope you haven't forgotten about me..." For me, it was a sign.

You weren't very close, but this loss affected you deeply, right?

Yes, he was the kind of person you say "people like that don't die," so it was extremely hard to believe. But I realized an important thing — life doesn't wait. My husband and I were postponing having a child and other moments. It seemed like it wasn't the right time: first the pandemic, then the war. Suddenly, the simple truth that life is always "on time" hit us. We had a wonderful daughter, and everything around us gained even more meaning. Pasha lived life to the fullest, loved every day, and was always open to new things. I want to live the same way :)

Was it difficult to work on this project?

All our friends helped create this film enthusiastically and for free during power outages, which made it very hard to plan the work process. But the desire to leave a good memory of our Pasha and introduce him to those who didn't know him justified everything. I wanted everyone to know about Pasha, to remember him, to admire him, and to tell their children about him. I'm grateful to everyone who supported me in this, and this project became a reality.

From ourselves, we want to add: we are delighted by our talented compatriots who continue to create incredible things. We honor our defenders, volunteers, and every Ukrainian who stands for our country and culture. We remember all who gave their lives for our peace, freedom, and justice. Let's continue to unite, help others, open our hearts to new things, and be sincere and genuine. Don't postpone your life for later because it passes by. Live here and now, do good deeds, and cherish every moment, as time is the most valuable resource that can't be returned. This project made each of us reflect.

Maybe life should be lived so that your friends want to make films about you and immortalize your memory forever?

P.S. We will definitely share the film with you when it becomes available for viewing.
