Handmade in collaboration with the Ceramics Workshop. Made from certified clay and glossy glazes. The clay contains water, liquid glass, soda, and slip (powdered clay).
The process is true slow art: liquid clay is poured into plaster molds and given an hour for the walls of the future cup to form; then the excess clay is drained, and the molds are left to dry for another 6 hours. When the piece is ready, it is carefully removed from the plaster, sanded with a sponge and water — and sent for the first firing. After that comes glazing, the second firing, the application of decals, and the final, third fire test.
