But first, a little about the origin: Worka Chelchelie is located in the very heart of Gedeb, a region where legends of Ethiopian Arabica are born. The coffee is slow-dried for up to 25 days — that’s what gives it such a deep and refined flavor profile.
Before drying, the cherries are hand-sorted, fermented for 36 hours, and only then laid out on 360 (!) drying beds under the sun. All this care and attention ensures each bean is evenly dried, preserves maximum aroma, and delivers that iconic floral-fruity vibe.
