How would we describe this coffee? It’s definitely like your favorite playlist — everything feels familiar, but it still gives you goosebumps every time. Red berries, rosehip, lemongrass, and a hint of blackcurrant — this is your summer mix in a cup, refreshing from the very first sip.
This coffee grows in Nyeri County, Central Kenya — the heart of Kenyan arabica. It’s also one of the highest-growing regions, making it perfect for SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varietals. The altitude, rich volcanic soil, and stable climate create beans that are as vibrant and juicy-acidic as they come.
But the real story isn’t just in the terroir — it’s in the people. The Thiriku Cooperative went through crisis, corruption, and disappointment. And came back — thanks to transparent partnerships, fair pay, and direct farmer support. Instead of earning 30–60 shillings per kilo, farmers now receive a stable 100+. That means more than money — it brings back belief. People are returning to farms, bushes are producing again — and with every cherry, the real taste of Kenya is coming back.
Brew it, feel it, love it :)
