Kenya Thiriku is like a playlist of your favorite tracks: everything feels familiar, yet it gives you goosebumps every time. Red berries, rosehip, lemongrass, and a hint of blackcurrant — sounds like a vibey summer mix that refreshes from the first sip. It grows in Nyeri County, Central Kenya — right in the heart of Kenyan Arabica. It’s also one of the highest-growing regions. Thanks to the altitude, rich volcanic soils, and stable climate, the coffee here turns out exceptionally bright and acid-forward.

Brewing recipe:

• Heat the water to 96°C, open the drip bag and place it on the cup, pour the first portion of water (40 ml) and let it drip through, then add the second portion of water (70 ml) to the top and let it drip through as well.

• Repeat the pour (another 70 ml). When the water has fully drained, remove the drip bag from the cup and stir the coffee with a spoon.

• Let it cool slightly — and that’s it, enjoy :)
