Rwanda Humure is grown at an altitude of 1624 m in Eastern Rwanda, in soils rich in chemical elements, which give the beans a more vibrant flavor and higher acidity.
The Humure washing station is located in Gatsibo District in the Eastern Province region. It is named after the tallest hill in the area, a popular tourist destination. Over 1300 coffee producers from the district use this station, which is exclusively managed by women, making it infused with a true woman power vibe.
