Ethiopia Gesha 1931 — a true African legend. It all began here, in the warm hills of the Gesha region (SNNPR), where wild coffee trees still grow. This is the birthplace of the variety that became a global specialty icon.
In the cup — peach, hibiscus, sweet grapefruit, and a touch of caramel. The aftertaste is fruity and light, with a tea-like body that leaves a sense of balance and elegance.
GESHA 1931 Farm is young but ambitious. Founded in 2019 by Tracon Company, it’s located at 1,400–1,684 meters above sea level — lower than classic Ethiopian regions like Yirgacheffe or Guji. That’s why the coffee here has its own unique vibe: a warmer climate, softer acidity, and bright fruity notes. The farm experiments with various processing methods — natural, honey, washed, carbonic maceration, anaerobic, and more.
Interestingly, this variety is grown right next to the Omo Valley forest — the very place where the original Gesha trees were discovered! So, when you drink this coffee, it’s like touching the source of the legend itself. But Tracon doesn’t just grow coffee — they truly care for the ecosystem: preserving local forests, supporting the community, and proving what modern coffee can be when made with respect for nature.
So yes — this lot is about the pure legendary taste, tradition, and that main character energy.
