The caramel and hazelnut flavor in this coffee is the perfect match to its aroma, ending with a long, sweet aftertaste.
It’s all done using the Swiss Water Process — a method that removes caffeine while preserving the flavor and aroma of the beans. Green coffee is soaked in hot water for several hours. This water is then passed through a charcoal filter that captures caffeine molecules but keeps the flavor compounds in the solution. The original beans are discarded, and a fresh batch of beans is soaked in that same flavor-rich, caffeine-free water. This way, the new beans lose their caffeine, but retain all their taste and aroma.
Heat water to 96°C, open the drip bag and place it over your cup.
Pour the first portion of water (40 ml) and let it drain.
Then pour the second portion (70 ml) up to the top and let it drain.
Repeat the pour once more (another 70 ml).
Once all the water has drained, remove the drip bag and stir your coffee with a spoon.
Let it cool slightly — and enjoy :)
