You pour it without thinking or, more likely, to cheer yourself up and start thinking. But there are interesting facts behind your morning cup of coffee.
1. Coffee lovers live longer.
According to Harvard Health Publishing, research links moderate consumption (about three to four cups a day) to increased life expectancy and a reduced risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and Parkinson's disease.
2. Espresso in Italian means "squeezed".
This refers to the method of preparing espresso - passing boiling water through pressed coffee grounds. Also, the name is consonant with the word expressly, which means "specially". That is, a drink prepared separately for each guest.

One of the most desirable varieties is obtained from the feces of the Asian palm civet. The cat creature eats fruit, including coffee cherries, but cannot digest beans.
